Bio:
Dr. Edwards is an Instructional Technology Specialist in the Division of Academic Innovation at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She is an educator with a varied background, not only in education, but also the areas of technology integration, business, management, and music. Her research includes teacher educator technology standards (TETC), program evaluation, Universal Design for Learning, and digital credentials. Dr. Edwards’ twenty years of teaching experience spans kindergarten through higher education. Her skills have provided opportunities such as presenter, technology troubleshooter, adjudicator, event chair, and TI:ME (Technology in Music Education) state board member. She is currently a Canvas Certified Educator, Canvas Certified Tech Admin, Quality Matter Reviewer (higher and continuing education), and UDL 3 Certified.
