I don't know my coding very well, but I believe were having a similar issue. Sometimes the code is simple, with reference to the course and image number - like when the image is first added to the page. But when the course is copied or exported, the line of code looks different, referring to https... , api data...., and duplicating the course and image numbers.

I disagree with the solution offered - the level of zoom doesn't account for the limited display area. When a Canvas quiz is being taken, there are four vertical elements on display: our college's navigation bar is displayed on the left, then is the individual course navigation bar, then is the body of the quiz, and finally on the right is the question list and time clock. With all four of these elements on display, the menu's take up over half the screen - even at 100% zoom.
I realize that the course menu bar can be minimized, but this still doesn't leave enough space for the body of the quiz. For a simple multiple choice quiz that is bult on text this isn't an issue. But "quizzes" is being used by teachers to build more than just tests. We have lab exercises and other in depth assignments that we have to build as a "quiz". These require more visual space to display information. At the very least, there should be a way to minimize the question list on the right in order to gain valuable screen real estate.

This is necessary if we want use quizzes for more than just assessment. We moved lab reports online for Covid and need more space to deliver information than is provided by a stimulus question. Canvas needs to realize that "quiz" doesn't adequately describe what we need to create in the program.

PLEASE make this a priority update! This is a simple function that already exists in old quizzes. I have a ton of questions built using tables and multiple fill in the blanks - I am waiting to migrate my exercises until this capability is available.

Instructors need the ability to format questions that use multiple question blanks. There is no way to create data tables or multiple line questions without text editing capability. You can edit the optional question stem but you can't edit the actual question. Is this something that is being addressed before old quizzes is discontinued?

Modules is nice... it lays out all of the pages, assignments, quizzes, and more in a nice outline. But, could I just skip putting stuff in Modules and use hyperlinks from a Home Page instead? It seems to work well. I still use an outline form but this time it's of hyperlinks to and from Pages. Is this alternative method an effective instructional design? Is there some value to keeping everything in the Modules outline instead of making my own linked outline? Our e-learning folks emphasize Modules and it feels like I'd be creating a method of content delivery that might look too different from everyone else. However, it feels more intuitive to me - like using a website. Thoughts?

Is there any way to increase the width of "classic" quiz windows? There is a big discrepancy between the question development display and the student display. To begin with, I usually work with my screen at 80% zoom so that I can see more on my laptop. When I build a question, it looks like there is enough width and I can properly format the image and the text. However, when I actually look at what the students get, it is significantly narrowed. The quiz content boxes barely fill half of the width of the computer screen. This is a ton of wasted space that could be used to display questions.
Canvas quizzes are used for more than just the classic text-based multiple choice tests where narrow is actually better. People are trying to build lab exercises and more complex assignments that include images, tables, figures, and text. A wider window is needed for such things.
So, is there a workaround or a magic button to press? If I can't do anything about the width, what is the optimal way to view the question development page so that what I build is exactly what the students get?

Please make editing an option for the fill in the blank questions. The ability to create tables and organize the content was key to making this aspect of quizzes work.

Please add the editing capabilities! It shouldn't be necessary to beg for a feature that is in an old version and so heavily supported and requested!

Agreed. The white space to the right of quizzes is just wasted. You have too much scrolling and not enough image or text. Please consider changing for the New Quizzes.
