Bio:
I have the privilege to work with teachers and administrators across the K-12 environment at Northwest Allen County Schools, and to support the development of strategies and structures for technology integration into the daily instruction model. This work allows me to help teachers design and deploy innovative instructional strategies that empower students to be better positioned to demonstrate their learning in new, innovative, and/or creative ways. After 12 years of teaching English in grades 6-12, I transitioned into the role of Curriculum Coordinator (2016) with an emphasis on digital textbook integrations, LMS administration, and teacher training and technology coaching and I now serve as the Assistant Director of Technology and in the role of Corporation Test Coordinator. Professionally, my passion centers on supporting and promoting professional learning and development and helping educators find value and knowledge transfer in every learning experience - for themselves and their students. I have an Indiana Educator and K-12 School Administrator license, and I am a CoSN Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL), a Google for Education Certified Trainer, and a Common Sense Education Digital Citizenship Ambassador. I also hold an MBA in Educational Leadership from the IU Kelley School of Business, an M.Ed in Learning & Technology from WGU-Indiana, and a B.A. in English Education from Purdue University.
