I'm not sure why this is marked as a solution? I see the same issue and it's definitely not been fixed (nor does this comment offer any solution whatsoever...)
I'd also love this! It's very annoying that the reassigned student's work keeps showing up. I can close out the notification, but if any other student then submits their work, it shows up ...
