I need to have a text column in the gradebook for grades such as "Honors", "High Pass", etc that are based on percentage average as well as projects completed.

Yes, if i can have multiple total columns in the same course shell.
The manually-entered score would be the final score for one of the courses based on various criteria that Canvas does not have the capability to calculate. These are "if-then" & "and&#...
The total score is not relevant in this situation. We use the "assignment group" scores instead. We hide the overall scores/totals.
