Bio:
Dr. Kemppainen is dedicated to providing students with the tools they need to learn effectively. She currently serves as one of the co-directors of the LEarning with Academic Partners (LEAP) program, a peer-to-peer mentoring program geared towards supporting student learning. Her research interests include evaluating the current trends in engineering education, growth mindset, grit, and mental toughness. Outside of work, she enjoys martial arts, reading, writing, and spending quality time with her family.
