Hi Adam, Thanks for this feedback, but this does not resolve the issue for me. I understand how to Hide and Post grades. I currently have my grade book to default as "manual" so I have to post the grades for each assignment. Manually posting grades works for future assignments; however, I have about 30 assignments right now I want hidden while I "fiddle" with my grade book. I would like to have a "button" or the ability to Hide my entire grade book and everything I've already posted while I move around some assignments, change grades, alter categories, etc. The only way I am able to achieve this right now is to go through my entire grade book and Hide each individual assignment's grades that have already been graded and posted. I have to go through and manually do this, one-by-one. It's highly inefficient. As an instructor, I should not only have the ability to hide individual grades for each assignment, but I should also have the ability to "Hide" the entire grade book while I work on things. If I don't hide the entire grade book, then every time I change a grade or do anything in the grade book, students will get a notification that the instructor(me) is doing something! Do you see my issue? The teachers at the Sequoia Union High School District would like to request that the automatic time stamp have the option to change the default from "11:59pm" to another option.  Currently, for each assignment, teachers have to change the time.  The teachers in our district are trying to move away from the 11:59 deadline because we don't want students submitting work late into the night.  We want to encourage healthy sleeping habits and this default does not help us do this.  We would like the option to change the default to whatever we want it to be.   ... Renee, As far as I can tell (based on your 2016-09-17 release notes) the features the teachers are requesting here have NOT BEEN implemented into Canvas.  The only thing that has been done is added a pop-up feature which many teachers do NOT want.  In addition, the pop-up comes and goes and when a teacher is doing mass grading, they may not see this (especially if they're using a 10-key and not looking at the screen).   The feature that teachers want is some sort of flag or color on the assignment if it exceeds or goes negative.  This has NOT been included as far as I can tell.  Am I not reading the release notes correctly?  Please advise.  My district is adopting Canvas for this next school year and this is a feature we had on our previous LMS (School Loop).  Many teachers in our district are dismayed that there's only a pop-up.   Please advise.
