This is a popular feature request and over 7 years old at this point. How has this not been implemented yet?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but if you create a Quiz whose quiz_type is assignment and then edit the associated Assignment and set its grading_type to not_graded then it breaks the association between the Quiz and the Assignment. Not only is the association broken but a new Assignment is created. I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior or not but I thought I would bring it up because it was incredibly unexpected and I couldn't find any documentation on this. I was accessing the API through this Python wrapper if it makes any difference. If you want the background on why I didn't just make the Quiz a Practice Quiz or Ungraded Survey instead of making it an Assignment Quiz, it is because the API only has support for differentiated assignments (assignments assigned to a subset of the class or assignments where students have different due dates) for Assignments and not Quizzes. I think this is kind of weird because you can differentiate NonAssignment Quizzes through the web browser but not through the API (or at least I haven't been able to figure out how).

When a student is assigned a peer review with a rubric attached, there is nothing to enforce that a student enters valid values. Students can Submit a value larger than the maximum for a criteria Submit a negative value for a criteria If using fixed criteria scores, not ranges, the student can submit a value between categories If you are expecting whole numbers to be entered, there is nothing to enforce this Here is an example of a rubric filled out by a student that canvas accepts because no checking is done on the values the student enters. The first entry is both a decimal value and outside of any of the 3 scoring criteria, violating points 3 and 4 The second entry is negative, which violates point 2 The last value is above the maximum, which violates point 1 So giving the students a rubric to fill out in a Peer Review seems pointless because there is nothing in Canvas that forces the student to follow the rubric they are given. What I want is something that enforces that the students enter valid values when filling out the rubric.

Are there any APIs for accessing a Test Bank (creating, adding questions to a Test Bank, moving questions between banks, etc)? I'm new to working with the API so I'm not sure if I missed it or it is hiding somewhere.
