Let's face it folks, the quiz feature on canvas is horrible and any attempt to use it for anything but the most basic and trivial questions will lead to frustration and despair.

We need the ability to send announcements to specific groups. Telling us that we need to create sections is not a "solution", since I have nine sections divided up into 27 groups.

I want to send announcements to all members in a particular group. Why is this not an option for us? Yet another example of a feature that clearly should be implemented in canvas but is not. It is not a "solution" to make up sections, since I my course has 9 sections already and 27 groups. I need to keep a distinction between groups and sections.

Obviously this is an essential feature. Once again Canvas shows that it's so-called "Quiz" feature is completely useless and that Canvas does not care about its customers at all. How many years has it been since this feature was requested again??? Ridiculous.

OMG how can this not be a built in option? Am I really supposed to use an "essay question" if all I want is a two word answer? Once again, this proves that the developers at Canvas (a) have never taught an actual class and (b) are totally unresponsive to their customers.

How come canvas has not yet added timed assignments as a feature? This basic functionality should be an option for us. It is really too bad that we can never seem to do what we want with canvas.
