Hello everyone!
My name is Benny Ng (aka Dr. Benny). I grew up in Hong Kong until my family moved to Los Angeles when I was fifteen. After graduating from high school, I became the first person in his family to attend college studying chemistry at UCLA where I continued my Ph.D. studies. Since then, I have been a lecturer at the CSU Channel Islands and The University of Hong Kong before joining the Los Angeles Pierce College chemistry department in Fall 2016. Currently, I am an Associate Professor, College Outcomes Coordinator, and Instructional Excellence Specialist at the Los Angeles Pierce College.
The courses I usually teach are Intro Chem lectures and labs, Gen Chem 1 labs, and Gen Chem 2 lectures and labs.
Fun fact: I have been to 6 continents including Antarctica where I did a polar plunge.
