The former! I need a rubric for each quiz question, in order to effectively use the Quiz tool for major final exams.
I'm very glad to see this idea resurrected. It would be a very significant improvement, and allow me to use Canvas as the platform for my final exams, which are all short essay questions.
I’m using the Word Count tool in Chrome on an iMac (OS X El Capitan), and it is working very well. Whatever I highlight in the essay box, the tool is giving me word and character counts.
Great suggestion on the browser tool. Thanks! I’ll use this in my upcoming final exam. Still, I don’t want to take the “heat” off of the suggestion to the Canvas team. Having a tool native in Canvas t...
