I would love this option. We have lots of quizzes that are optional for students to review the material. If students don't do them, parents see missing assignments and get upset. It would be great to be able to identify optional assignments so that they don't show up as missing.

Not sure how to send this directly to Canvas support but you can see in this zoom recording that while I do add the date/time twice, and while it looks like it saves in that page, if I go to the Assignments page or to that specific assignment, it doesn't stick. And when I go back to the Assignment Date update page, it didn't stick. I am using the Edit Assignment Dates page to do quick updates to all of my assignments, but when I set the time, it reverts ot 11:59 pm. If I go back in and set the time a second time, it seems to save. But if I then save my changes and to to the assignment itself, the time has moved to 11:59 pm again?

Many of our 6-8th grade families would like the option to print off the to do list for the week. It would be nice to have this as an option. It would obviously need a disclaimer that things might change, and we would only want it to be able to print for the current week or the next week.
