My name is Kevin Blackwell. I’m a full-time instructor at Olympic College. I teach in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) department. I have been a full-time instructor for more than 16 years. Before I began teaching full-time, I worked as the Technical Services Manager in the Information Technology (IT) department of Olympic College where I had been working for about 19 years (full-time and part-time, combined) and taught at Olympic College for about 9 years (part-time) as an adjunct faculty member. My background is in Information Technology, but I also have a background in electronics. I’m a 23-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where I worked in aviation electronics (i.e., “Avionics”) and personnel administration.
