When students upload files for assessment, there are file size limits set by Canvas.
My request is to simply list these limits, wherever they apply, next to the submit/upload button.
The file size limit seems to be 5Gb. However, mp4 videos are uploaded to a separate media server, that appears to have a 500Mb limit. These need to be explicitly stated in Canvas for students.
I can't tell you how many emails I get about file size issues. List it, please.

Well there are additional limitations. It's 500Mb for media uploads, for example. This is not listed on the submission page anywhere.

@stiber so true. I can't in good faith recommend an otherwise great LMS if there's nobody listening to the users. Blackboard actually does listen. Did you hear that Canvas HQ?! I bet not.

YES! Remove the previewing on all links in a module.... Half the time it doesn't work, meaning 2 clicks when it should take 1. Plus students are shown an error screen every time it doesn't work, which makes us teachers look bad. Super disappointing - changing to Blackboard if this persists.

Really surprised Canvas can't do this yet. Really basic feature. I want to make ONE bookable appointment time available every Monday for the next year - this means inputting the info 52 TIMES!! This makes the appointment scheduler in Canvas almost useless.
