Bio:
Lauren Colby is an Instructional Designer at Widener University in Chester, PA. Her professional interests include adult education, instructional design, and critical digital pedagogy. Lauren has worked in education for nearly 10 years with experiences that include managing an academic program at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching English during a Fulbright grant to Thailand, and working with immigrant and refugee populations in Central Illinois. Lauren holds her M.S.Ed. in Intercultural Communication from the University of Pennsylvania and her B.A. in Global Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In her free time, Lauren enjoys gardening, hiking, creative writing, and hanging out with her very soft cat.
