I received my Master’s Degree from Florida State University (funded through the Predoctoral Interdisciplinary Research Training (PIRT) Fellow program), part of the Florida Center for Reading Research. Following the completion of my Master’s, I joined the Developmental Psychology Graduate Program and the Institute for the Science of Teaching & Learning at Arizona State University where I completed my Doctoral degree in Developmental Psychology. Once I graduated, I joining a start-up called Learning Ovations and helped scale-up an online teacher planning tool for literacy instruction called A2i. In 2022, Learning Ovations was acquired by Scholastic. After the acquisition I moved into a new role at Instructure.
