Bio:
Laurel L. Perez is an instructor of Composition at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, TX. Her concentrations are in poetry, creative nonfiction, composition, and rhetoric, focusing on feminist working-class pedagogies. She has published a few poems in Literary Orphans and Yellow Chair Review and a chapbook, Just Some Punk Kid, on the aesthetics and culture of Punk rock. In addition to being a poet and instructor, Perez enjoys slowly becoming the cat lady of her dreams, reading, writing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, and engaging in various DIY crafts.
