There is no way to get around the locked down videos that are hosted on Kaltura but need you to authenticate with Canvas to watch them. So, if we are trapped in the Instructure UI the least they could...
(don't say "use a second device" I'm not looking for workarounds, I'm looking for validation and, ideally, a fix from Instructure for this issue that is just poor ui design or more...
It's super unhelpful to pile onto a bug report with workarounds essentially saying that the bug is not a bug because you can workaround it. A workaround is what you do when there is an unfixed bug...
