Agree with this idea. Our instructors would like to easily 'audit' the peer review contributions.
Right now, they have to go into the assignment, peer review, find the students name and right click on each individual peer that they submitted a review for.
It would be ideal to have all the peer reviews that they submitted in one place for each assignment.

Our faculty would love to have the asterisk replaced by 'draft'. It is even more important when you have teaching assistants putting in comments and not submitting as the instructor will not know or be able to confirm if they have submitted. An Asterisk is not a intuitive notifier of feedback not being submitted.

At UBC Sauder School of Business, this would be extremely useful to our students and instructors. We get requests often for this function.

At the Business school I work at, this was our instructors experience. They were editing a group assignment comment in the gradebook sidebar and it ended up that only 1 group member received the updated feedback.
Our ideal situation is that the updated feedback given for a group assignment in any area would be updated to reflect for all group members.
If that is not possible, very clear documentation on the assignment page and group page that states the expected outcome of using the gradebook sidebar with group assignments.

I have also had instructors bringing up this issue. In our case, it was a gradebook upload with a CSV, so it would not be an issue with a trackpad or skipping to other users too fast.
I have to disagree with a previous comment, that it is most likely user error. seems like it may be a 'bug' that is very specific and not seen often.

It would also be useful to be able to remove a portion of the hyperlink. when you highlight text and remove a link it removes from all of the link, rather than just the specific highlighted text.

Not sure if this help, but you may want to try putting a time limit on the quiz. That way Canvas will submit for the student even if they walk away and don't hit submit. Although we are running into issues with exams not auto submitting with a due date/until date, and time limit.

We are also experiencing this. in addition, it seems to allow students to write over the time limit of the quiz, but looking into confirming that. There is a possibility that is is related to the use of Chrome. I would suggest they don't use Chrome and always ensure all student have submitted the exam if they are experiencing this issue.

Hi @tim_kato and @mfbutner , Yes, just a few clarifying points. When the student enters an invalid answer in a rubric used for a peer evaluation, the instructor sees the peer evaluation as 'completed'. this means that a student who does not do the peer evaluation correctly, will still be seen in Canvas by the instructor as being done correctly and get full marks. This also has implications on the students receiving the peer evaluations. If there is no notification or way to identify that a valid peer evaluation was done, the student who submitted their work will get no valid feedback to improve their work. This majorly reduces the effectiveness of putting in the effort of creating and monitoring this. Once a student fills out an invalid peer eval with the rubric, they are not able to adjust it. So if a student who is evaluating another student makes a mistake and wants to fix it, they are unable to. Leaving the student who is receiving the feedback with nothing.

Hi Tim and Steven, We have experienced this as well. We would also like Canvas to limit the ability for students to be logged into a quiz on two different devices at the same time. We have had several situations where two students were logged in to Canvas under the same account and wrote the same quiz. Both students wrote the exam (without any indication that someone else was logged in as them as well). One student completely lost their exam. This was for two final exams, which can be a huge impact on a student’s grade. Even if there was a warning to the student (e.g. this quiz is already in progress by user) and the teacher (e.g. there are currently two attempts in progress on this quiz) would be a perfect indicator that 1) a student was logged in under the wrong account or 2) one student is logged in on two devices. In conversations with our instructors and support team, we tend to agree with the most recent comments. Note the grade posting policy in the top of the column with 'Automatic' or 'Manual'. Use a eye with a slash to note a column has hidden grades. Have no icon to note a column with visible grades. Use this system for both policies so it is consistent. Instructors just want to know if the grades are visible to students or not.

We would like the ability to set the grade posting policy within the new Gradebook at the Account and Subaccount level.
In our experience, the assumption is that the grades will be hidden from students by default. Right now, the only way to adjust the policy is manually in each course.
The Grade posting policy cannot be set in a Blueprint or at an account or subaccount level to allow an institution to chose their own posting policy. We would like the ability to do so.

There is one workaround, if you have TA's enrolled in their specific section in a merged course, then the grade center is sorted by section, the TA's can grade their own section at the same time with the grades and comments being saved. TA's still cannot mark across sections at the same time.
