Hi, I am the root admin and cannot find how to share a rubric that I created at the account level... I attempted to import specific content into the course, however the only 2 viable options in the menu options I am familiar with, copy a canvas course, (which is not where I created the rubric), or canvas course export package, are not applicable. I did not see a share option for a rubric at the account level. I attempted to add it in the course assignment and searched for it in the subaccount level rubrics feature, but could not do either. Does one have to create rubrics at the subaccount level only? Or, is there a feature I need to use, like Learning Mastery? Thanks! José

Hi, I'm looking for some suggestions please. Issue: Assignment group weights were not applied, in a class so the gradebook was not set up; grading has begun. I'm hoping to find a resolution that will allow for gradebook to apply the group weights and the correct grading scheme despite the fact that grading has begun. Goal: Avoid manual grading by instructor. I hope this was clear. Thanks!

Hi, There have been a few occasions when I copy a course and then receive a message sating that students are attempting to access content in a different course. Why might this be happening? We use Google LTI and often it is a Google file that the instructor is sharing in the course and was shared in the previous course. Any thoughts? Thanks, José

Hi edutech_is01, I'm not sure if that is an option but hope it is. In the meantime, you might consider using Notifications in Canvas. Go to Account in the Global navigation menu, click "Account Notification Settings." Scroll down to alerts. Instructors and Admins can set alerts for Course enrollment, New account user, etc. The settings can be adjusted for immediate, daily, or weekly notifications and will go to your/their dedicated email. A canvas admin or instructor (depending on your institutions settings) can import specific content into different courses using the course copy option in course settings and following the import process. In the course where you want the module, go to: Settings Click on "Import Course Content" in "Content Type" select Copy a Canvas course from the dropdown menu Search for the course that contains the module you are looking for Click on the Radio button that reads: Select Specific content Click on Import From there you are given options to select the module you are looking to import. Click on import... I hope this helps. José

Hi Sam, And thanks for sharing these SQL queries. I hope you or someone can help. Can these queries help identify multiple duplicate and triplicate logins that were created using Google O_Auth? From the outset, my org used G-O_auth. We switched to the local login in August 2020 and discovered many duplicates. We need to identify a process for merging or deleting these logins. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. José

I was able to add and remove students from sections in a course. The screencast I recorded is a rough overview of the process but I think it can be helpful. Reminder, I did this in Beta so I am not aware of the effects it will have in production. If someone has an answer that'd be great! José

Hi Lisa, Aside from the great tools that Stefanie shared, I'd add that canvas has a feature to create and embed audio files. We recently created a handout on writing for screen readers to use internally.

Hi Mia, I work with small PDFs to make them more accessible. I outlined my process below and I recorded a video as I go through the steps. For a document this size there's more work, but if you have to make it happen... 1: Upload the PDF to my Google drive 2: Open with Google Docs (Images & Maps did not transfer) 3: Use Grackle extension for identifying accessibility issues. There is a free version My org purchased a subscription, but the free one might be useful 4: Copy and paste the images and maps (For images with lots of description [there is a 120 character limit] I create a separate accessible google doc and link that to the image/map) I've linked the google doc I was demonstrating if it's helpful. Mike, What's missing is "conclude this course" option. I have been concluding all our 2019 courses and this one is the only one that does not have this option.
