I'd like to second this please. There is already a risk of staff getting their heads around the new posting functionality, so having the ability to clearly state that this option will post either comments or grades (or both) would be appreciated. Or at least some language to reflect the two (given mentioned constraints).

Forgive me if this is a silly question, I have not yet had my coffee! However, does anyone know if the Pronouns will be on by default come the 18th? I can't seem to find reference to the default status anywhere, and in our Beta, it is on by default and is not toggable (I felt the need to use that created word!).

Hi all! Does anyone know what the language "Free Trial" for the immersive reader refers to? We currently have an Office365 licence and have turned it on in our beta. We've noticed that it gets turned on globally, but there was no authorisation/configuration information required. We'd love to know more about what the 'free trial' is referencing.

Hi all, Loving all the suggestions in here - so you'll have to excuse all the notifications of me liking everything! Is there work being done to include a header (yes, header this time) for tables? Currently as it stands, we aren't meeting the WCAG standards for accessibility when using tables as there is no way to identify any headers in the table properties. I stand corrected - I acknowledge that you can do this, but it is hidden and not easily visible for staff to see and therefore complete.

Hi @debra_mansperge , It isn't much, but I did come across something small in an article I used for our Universal Design guide. Reyna, Jorge. (2013). The importance of visual design and aesthetics in e-learning. Training & Development Magazine. Vol 40. On page 30, under "Presenting information effectively". If I see anything else, I'll let you know.

We only have access to the free version at this point in time, and sadly it isn't responsive. And knowing how to resize while keeping the ratio messes with my head. I do love a good H5P, but sadly doesn't help with a number of the design elements that people are using the Style guide for.

I'm the same as @james_trueman - only a newbie when it comes to a lot of this. However, I've now worked in two institutions where the grid layout specifically, but also the ability to add those "little extras" such as buttons, icons, popovers has been a turning point from slapping text and videos on a page into formatted experiences. While definitely not as flexible as one would like and requires some skill in tweaking HTML, it's all we have to work with, in the RCE. Especially when the administration of a large institution doesn't allow just anyone in the university to upload to the Theme Editor. And while I know at this point in time it's not going anywhere... I'm worried that one day it will just happen and we won't have a way to clean up the mess that remains. Any time you search Google for resources on Canvas, numerous institutions are using the style guide to provide formatted training, resources or support pages. These may not be updated frequently and therefore, they may not even know that this is all going to change on them. Picture me talking a few deep breaths here.
