In Canvas Data's schema, the enrollment_dim file shows the type of an enrollment, but for ObserverEnrollment type roles where a link to another user is implied, there is no link to the student user.  ...

WOW. This is the best introduction to an API I've ever seen, and I'm only half-way down. I'm interrupting the read to go play with the Live API - genius! 

Also experiencing this as an issue. I couldn't see any progress or change since the response above so have created a Feature Idea - https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/17066-add-observer-student-rel...

I'd really appreciate this feature. Our students are globally dispersed and the participation invitation notice will be the first official notice they receive from us - not being able to brand the ema...
