Hi aik0002 - We have made progress on vetting both FlipGrid and Padlet. For FlipGrid we had to work directly with our Microsoft rep to make the HECVAT submission happen. If you are not a Microsoft shop and do not have that option I have some direct contacts with FlipGrid now. We are almost done with the HECVAT review, just waiting on our Registrar's approval. For Padlet, the primary issue was accessibility, no VPAT. They have made some improvements and we were able to get it approved for accessibility. We are also reviewing their HECVAT and have some concerns we are working with them on. I will post an update on both as soon as we know more. Thanks for floating this topic back up.  ... View more

Just a heads up about potential security risks with Flipgrid and their disregard for working with institutions to meet the needs of their users in a safe and secure fashion.  They refuse to complete any standard cloud security review (i.e HECVAT) that almost every HED institution requires to install an LTI.  This concern has been shared with Instructure and IMS Global to no avail. I highly encourage Instructure to improve their partnership vetting process. Has anyone had any success with working with Padlet on a security review? Thanks!  ... View more

Flipgrid is refusing to participate in the Ga Tech  App vetting process for Canvas integration. If anyone has had better luck with them please let me know. I have also reached out to IMS Global for support. Thanks!  ... View more
