Bio:
Brian Prows, a media publisher, online marketing, and higher education professional, has over 20 years experience in B2B/B2C marketing management, consulting, training, teaching and content development within the digital media, software, healthcare, and education industries. He follows the mobile channel's impact on human communications, marketing, and media.
Since 2009, Brian has created written and audio content for MobileBeyond. Through his podcast interviews with worldwide mobile, marketing, and technology experts, Brian has opened a conversation about the future of digital communications. His consulting contributions for local and international companies have greatly improved brand recognition, mobile adoption, and marketing effectiveness.
Brian started his career in public radio, managing NPR stations in South Dakota and Iowa. He holds an M.A. (Speech Communication) from Humboldt State University and B.A. (Speech Communication with a Radio-TV Minor) from San Jose State University. While at Humboldt and San Jose State, Brian managed the campus radio stations, worked part-time as an announcer and broadcast journalist in commercial radio, and coordinated the production and distribution of educational radio spots on thirteen Bay Area radio stations.
Brian has taught Speech Communication at Laney College in Oakland. Previously, he was an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State and Santa Clara University.
