We need THREADED replies, where each reply to a reply is indented so one can easily track who is talking to whom.
The old Canvas discussions allow...

Yes. I ran into this time limitation issue setting up new discussions this past weekend. Better to set times due through Assignments where adjusting due dates/times allows manual adjustments.
