I love these upgrades! I realize this next suggestion is not on the current list, but I'd really love if Canvas made correct answers transfer to a new attempt of an assignment/quiz. This feature is in ALEKs and I absolutely love it because kiddos can work on what they need more practice with! Students shouldn't have to waste their time writing down previous correct answers OR opening a new tab of the graded quiz. Please (PLEASE) consider adding this feature!

With New Quizzes (not sure if the same is for classic), I've noticed when I go to update an quiz (change a question, etc) that the point value doesn't automatically update for the quiz itself. So, I run into many issues of the grades look funny because I updated the quiz, but forgot to update the point value. I'm hoping that this is something canvas can get fixed as I feel like when I update a quiz, it should automatically update the total points for the quiz itself.
Example: Quiz is 10 points. Edited quiz and now is 8 points. If I don't update the 8 points, it messes up the grading on it.

@d_stark I've taught my kiddos how to do this, but it's a waste of time that they could be using to work on the problems they previously solved incorrectly

I would LOVE to see this feature as a MS math teacher. I love the idea of multiple attempts so we can continue to get better, but students should only have to focus on the problems they solved incorrectly. It's efficient and, honestly, a bit more motivating for students, especially the students that struggle with math.

YES!!! I'd love to see this implemented new quizzes as well. In ALEKs, one of the best features of our weekly spiral review quizzes is that students ONLY have to redo the problems they missed! It's so much more encouraging for those math students that struggle. I feel that it also encourages students to do take their time to do their best on their first attempt; quick retake rewards students!
