Another issue I have that is somewhat related is Canvas applying late penalties to assignment attempts even if the highest grade was submitted on time but others were submitted late.

I have also requested this before. It is so cumbersome when the class sizes are large.

I suggest that a feature be added to Canvas where you can moderate for a student for multiple assignments at once. This can be cumbersome when you have to do it for a student and there are almost 20 assignments with all different requirements.
