Hi scottdennis. Those who had no scores in the Canvas gradebook appeared to have no quiz submissions when checked individually. Which was very unlikely since the moderate log details showed that all of them answered the questions, finished the quiz and all have scores. And this happens only to new quizzes. When I used the same quiz prepared under classic quizzes no such thing occurs.

Hi scottdennis. Thanks for the quick response. To answer your question, it is the case where some students have gradebook entries while others don't have and it is the same quiz assigned to all the members of the section. I conducted the same quiz in another class just 5 weeks ago but I never encountered the said issue.

I noticed this week that not all the quiz scores (new quizzes) are reflected in the Gradebook. I had 3 quizzes in the past couple of days and based on the log details under the Moderate feature, all my students were able to take the quizzes. However, not all the scores were captured in the Gradebook. Can somebody please address this?

I created a question group for randomized quiz questions that should pick 30 questions from test bank questions that I added in the details. There are 174 questions. However, after saving the quiz, this message appeared: "This question group is set to pick more questions than are available." The preview also picked 144 instead of 30 questions. Is there a maximum number of test questions allowed from which the quiz will pick from? If yes, what is the maximum allowed. If none, did I miss anything in my setting up of the quiz? "When Matching questions are graded, students must get all matches correct to earn full points. There is not an option to assign partial credit for Matching questions." - This renders the Matching assessment option essentially USELESS. Just saying.

Hello Lamplighter II. Thanks for taking time to assist me in my concern. Yes. I did both - creating a new test bank and not indicating a new test bank. Both yielded no results, i.e. the file did not appear on either of them. And yes, the import was completed. Most probably, the QTI file provided by the publisher has issues. Thanks again. Tani

Hello there! Can somebody help me please? I was able to successfully import a Canvas test bank QTI file (1.2) provided by the book publisher. But the imported file does appear either in the Assignments (I tried New Quizzes) nor in the list of test banks of my Classic Quizzes. Where did the file go? Thanks.

1. Does anyone here knows how to migrate test banks of Classic Quizzes to New Quizzes? 2. Or how can I upload test banks for Canvas provided by book publishers to New Quizzes. At present, it works only to Classic Quizzes. 3. When I migrate a classic quiz to New Quizzes, why does it not migrate all the settings. For example, the time limit and number of attempts. I had to go to settings and re-apply the settings.

I know that the maximum file size for uploading is 500MB per file. What I want to know is if there is a cap on accumulated size of all the course contents per course.

The attendance link in two of my courses are not working. Instead it displays this message: " The OAuth signature was invalid. Please be sure you are launching this tool from the link provided in Canvas." Can this be addressed by the local admin or is this a bug of the app itself. Thanks.
