100% agreed - this RCE toolbar is broken and cannot be implemented as-is without the changes noted by Alex and Chris.

Alex makes a great point about accessibility - one of the reasons we use Kaltura to consolidate all media is for captioning and accessibility needs, so we can't have end users confused about where to put their media.

We have some concerns about the new Rich Content Editor and specifically the new "LTI Tools" button where tools like Kaltura are now relegated. The button disappears on all but the largest screens (it is not visible on a 15" laptop screen, replaced with the "3 dot" menu button.) This is going to cause major issues for our end-users, and any institution where an LTI tool like Kaltura is heavily integrated. We fully support this proposal - these changes will have significant negative impact on our end-users as Kaltura is a major component of our online learning experience.
