Bio:
I am an educator in North Carolina and have taught in both private and public school as both a teacher and Jr. High principal. I currently teach Civic Literacy and Economics & Personal Finance at an Early College in the Lenoir County Public School district. I am the senior A/V engineer for Neuse News, a local news organization that livestreams local events, and serve as the tech facilitator and musician for a local church. I served as an Aviation Operations Specialist with the Army National Guard during Operation Iraqi Freedom. My career is supported by Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction (Ed.D.) and North Carolina teaching certification (6-12 History, K-12 Music, 9-12 Bible, and AIG certified). I completed my dissertation research on using Canvas in the classroom.
