Hi, Thanks, this actually helped a great deal. Students did show me the screens they were getting, which did not have the directions. Just had the opportunity to have another student show me a missing assignment, but that one did have directions. What does not make sense to me is why in your screenshot the "these are the directions" were under a collapsed "details" menu. What's even funnier to me is that my student did not have the "details" menu listed. Maybe it depends on the type of assignment?

Thanks, but that's not it. When I make the assignment, everything goes right into the direction section there. This is not for any assignment that was made in Pages or anywhere else. 95% of the assignments I create, give or take a few, are in an Assignment post. With that said, when my students see the Assignment in their To-Do list and click it, it brings them to the submission page where there are no directions listed. Hope that helps!

The To-Do list has been both a blessing and a curse. Some students benefit from it while others do not. What I noticed for the first time this year is that when a student clicks on the activity in the To-Do list, it brings them to a submission page. This seems to be more specific to students who have a missing or late assignment. Students then ask me to "unlock" the assignment, which I almost never lock assignments unless they are midterms, finals, and so on. Why does the To-Do list need to bring students to this screen? Why can't it bring them to the actual assignment?

It seems like this discussion started in 2016 and it is now 2022. Many votes on the topic as well... It would be great to have a way to unplublish multiple assignments at once! Or have all assignments automatically imported when moving a copied course from the prior year.

I am a high school history teacher with two periods of US History I. When on Canvas' Conferences, I know I can select the students I want to enter the conference. However, with roughly 25 kids in each class, it would be extremely tedious and time consuming to select all 25 students every day from a combined list. Is there any way for me to make preselected groups of students to join Conferences?

The Legacy Quizzes, being the old quizzes, already has the printing option. But our principal is asking us to tag standards to each question so that they can be traced for data purposes. Old Quizzes does not assist with this. That's why I was more focused on the printing from New Quizzes. Also, it is protocol for us to print out our midterms and finals for submission to be 1) looked over for approval and 2) have a copy for record purposes. That's when the problem arose that we cannot print the exam. Again, thank you for the assistance!

I've been working on my Canvas course outline for over a year now. I am wondering if I am able to sell this outline and course to others using a website such as Teachers Pay Teachers?

I would like to clarify that I was in discussion with Canvas representatives through their chat as well as e-mail in regards to this thread's question. The response given to me was that because Canvas is designed to be 100% online, there is no possible way to print from the "New Quizzes" quiz assignment. Of course they do mention that you could do a screenshot of each question or copy and paste each question (with each of the answer options) over to another program and print from there. I have inserted a picture of the e-mail without the representative's name, but did include the reference number for legitimacy.

For our midterms and finals we are required to submit a "hard copy." Is there a way to print what I've spent hours working on? New Quizzes does not have a "print" feature. Also, screenshotting each question is not acceptable.
