A group of instructors in my school is utilizing the Learning Mastery Gradebook to track student learning over time. We love it, but continue to find limitations. The biggest one is allowing students to easily find feedback on assignments. A simple step to alleviate this issue would be to allow the comments that I put on assignment rubrics that are aligned to outcomes to appear in the learning mastery student grade book. I'm looking for the ability to have a quiz report separate scores for the different sections of the quiz, and if possible, align those to outcomes. We give a weekly vocabulary quiz that assesses synonyms, antonyms, definitions, and sentences. Those questions are pulled from question banks aligned to outcomes and those outcomes are on the scoring rubric for the assignment. What I would like to see is a world where Canvas scores those separate sections and tracks the progress on the outcomes each week. I'd also like to see the score broken out by category so that students can easily track their weekly progress on each outcome. without scrolling through the quiz and counting the number of questions that they missed in each one.

I am looking for the grade display setting in the gradebook to apply to Speedgrader as well. I give a weekly vocabulary quiz that is out of 55 points, but need to manually calculate student percentages to track proficiency on the assignment rubric. Seeing a percentage in Speedgrader would make this much easier.

Often as an instructor, I want to post a series of threaded questions for students to reply to. This keeps discussions organized and allows student/instructor choice. When these questions are posted, I want students to respond before seeing the responses of others. The problem is that the "User must post before seeing replies" is tied to the discussion, not the thread, so students can't even see my threads until they reply. I would love to see the ability to allow students to see those threads but not see the replies to each thread until they respond.

When conferencing with students, I often have numerous assignments that need to be updated or graded. Being able to simply click in the score column and manually enter a score would be much more efficient than having to click on the link on the assignment name, then "Speed Grader" then fixing the score. The same is true with learning outcomes. Being able to make changes on the student grade screen would be much more efficient.

Please add this feature. I'm currently using a convoluted system that requires students to revise and comment. Then I have to check my email to see the comment, return to the assignment to re-grade it, and comment to the student when it is updated.

When assigning an assignment to multiple groups of students, I would love to be able to simply copy and paste a list of student names into the "assign to" field. I can not create separate sections because it breaks our SIS sync, so currently I must manually type in 25-30 student names for every assignment that gets assigned in this way. Being able to input these names using a .csv or some other format would also be appreciated.

When working with inclusion classes where some students need the assessment read to them and others do not, not being able to set their questions to the same order is problematic. I know that I can set this at the quiz level, but it would be fantastic to be able to use the "Assign to" field to assign a quiz which shuffles the answers to some students while assigning the same quiz to those who require the quiz to be read to them which does not.

Adding the "grade" column and or completion checkmark to the course summary screen that is embedded on the syllabus would allow students to quickly see what assignments they have already completed when viewing the syllabus as the course homepage. This would make the course syllabus a true one stop shop for all course information, making it even more useful as a homepage.
