I am a native of California who moved to the Las Vegas area in 2018 with my spouse, Dr. Paul Williams, a retired community college dean and president. I am a lifelong learner, always looking for something new to learn and master! My doctorate is in Education Leadership & Policy Analysis (policy focus with support area of Law). As a graduate teaching assistant, I co-authored and edited articles with my professor on school community relations and school superintendent leadership. I also hold a Juris Doctorate and my focus has been on the sociology of organizations and women leaders. I retired as a public library director, after which i consulted with leaders not for profit education organizations and institutions for community and media relations and fundraising. I am a certified NAMI Family to Family trainer. Next, I plan to update my dissertation research on women leaders in social and political organizations and work with parents of children in special education programs.
