I would like to +1 this feature request. Its very counter-intuitive to set a rubric, then change assignment type and not be able to see the rubric at all. 

I would like the ability to do this as well - its redundant to repeat the event across multiple course.  

I'd like to use the Canvas icons as references on my course pages so that when I refer to assignments, dashboard, calendar, etc. I can use the same icons that students will see in Canvas.
