I hate the to do list. Students x things off the list and lie to parents. Some parents do not seem to be invested enough to become Observers and check for themselves....so this feature would force the...

It seems this vote already happened but people still want this functionality. Personally, I would like the inbox to function more like GMAIL, but even this would be helpful. 

Ideally being able to type in the box for speedgrader and also the regular gradebook view. If this isn't done soon, I will be transitioning to use Canvas as a front page and just use my school gradebo...
