Unfortunately, the answer is no. Modules are strictly plain text based.

Actually, you can have unicode characters in module names, page names, and text headers

Hi,  @coines2  (here's a slightly belated) Welcome to the Canvas Community! Text headers in modules support copy-paste of unicode symbols and emojis, and it looks really cool. Just yesterday I learned about this awesome resource :  https://emojipedia.org/  You can also find suitable emojis by searching for unicode symbol tables such as this one.

Here's an example of a beautifully simplified course home page that is easy for younger students to navigate.
