[ARCHIVED] [ARCHIVED] Adding quiz time to students in unpublished quiz state

Currently in order to pre-add quiz time to students with accommodations one has to add the time through Moderate Quiz, and that is only available when the quiz is in Published state. 

Can this be changed so that ALL quiz settings can be adjusted in Unpublished (and Published) state?

@AD20 Canvas is no longer making changes to the classic version of quizzes as it is developing the New Quiz engine.  In the new quiz engine, this has been addressed and the behavior has been changed.  You can also set it up as an "Accommodation" so the extended time applies to all assessments instead of only the one you are currently moderating.

Your institution may have the new quiz engine available now if you want to test/use it.  If you do not see the option to create a "New Quiz" when you click on "+ Quiz" then look in your course "Feature Options" and see if New Quizzes can be enabled.  It is still in development and is not full parity for classic quizzes (at least not yet).  Here are a bunch of guides on New Quizzes if you are interested:  FAQ: New Quizzes - Instructure Community

Thanks for posting that information.  That information about accomodations is almost enough incentive for me to switch to New Quizzes.
