I noticed there are math notations available but I would also like to be able to write chemical equations into my quiz questions. I can use subscripts for this but with the currently available font, I am not able to type in arrows for reactions. Is there some way to insert reaction (various yield symbols) notations?

I see in the tags of your questions that you are referring to Quizzes. Are you building this quiz in the original Quiz area or are you using the new Quizzes.NEXT? The method for entering chemical equations differs because they are using two different tools for math equations. I'll show you how to do it in the old one:

1. In the Rich Content Editor, click the button for inserting a Math Equation:
   
   
   
2. Chemical equation arrows can be found in the tab there: 
   
   
3. I normally type the equation out without the arrow and then just insert the arrow in from the math editor. I really wish there was a keyboard shortcut for subscript in the RCE but there doesn't appear to be. If I have a lot of equations to type, I'll type them up in Word and paste them into the quiz because Word does have keyboard shortcut for subscript. That seems to work but the arrow in Word is a lot shorter.
