[ARCHIVED] [ARCHIVED] New Content Selector Slow To Load?

Hi Admins,

Ever since the new Content Selector was introduced we are having very slow loading times when editing pages, quizzes, assignments etc.

Is anyone else finding this issue? I've contacted support but have been told that they can't replicate the issue and that I should just clear my cache regularly (not super helpful).

Any thoughts or suggestions/solutions?

gharbor, this is a duplicate of https://community.canvaslms.com/thread/15472-new-content-selector-slow-to-load posted in the https://community.canvaslms.com/groups/designers?sr=search&searchId=d6f9b187-3564-4428-8759-8ebc8d9e...‌ group. Rather than creating multiple versions of the same question/discussion in different groups, a Community member can create one version and then share it out to any group to which he or she belongs. That way, we can keep all responses unified in a single thread, and members of both groups can contribute.

With this in mind, I'm going to lock this question for further participation, and request that people direct their responses to the above-linked question in the ID Group (I've shared it to this group).

We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love (especially questions that are really, really old) and just want to check in with you.  This will also bring this question new attention.
