Hi @everson_50 ,
For all of my courses I have an Academic Honesty question in an orientation quiz. Students must complete this quiz before they begin the course and includes other questions such having the required software installed, having had read my syllabus, being aware of my late work policies, etc. Pasted below is my question that could easily be adapted to place in each quiz. I have made it a multiple choice question with just one answer of "I agree that the work completed and submitted for this course, in both Canvas and MindTap, will be my own work completed solely by me." I don't see the point of given them two choices. If they can't agree to that, what's the point of continuing on? 🙂
Academic Honesty Agreement.
All assignments you complete or submit for this course using your account login credentials are expected to be your own work completed individually unless the assignment clearly states otherwise. Any instances of cheating or plagiarism will result in a zero for that assignment and the student will be referred to the academic dean for disciplinary action subject to the Acts of Dishonesty section of SVCC’s Student Code of Conduct.
Examples of cheating and plagiarism may include online work completed by someone else under your login credentials, sharing assignment documents or start files, completing assessments together, searching the web for answers during an assessment, or sharing images of quizzes and exams.
