I would like to access my student's ePortfolios throughout the year and assess them. Do I create an assignment and have them send me a link each quarter? Or is there some way I can click on People and access their public ePortfolio that way?

Hi Elaine,

For the most part people (students and teachers) get to control access to their own ePortfolios.  So creating an assignment where you have students submit a link is a great way for them to share them with you.  The URLs should stay the same so you probably don't need them to submit again, but it might not be a bad idea to have them submit the URLs periodically as a reminder of touch points, or times when they know they should have information updated because you will be reviewing them.
