[ARCHIVED] Add new essay question to existing quiz without impacting teacher marking queue (past attempts)

Hi everyone - wondering if anyone has needed to add an additional question (essay question in particular) to an existing quiz that has already been completed by students, without impacting the teacher's marking queue etc. Looking for some suggestions to best go about this with minimal impact. Thanks

Bit of a murky area because there is additional information required to diagnose the correct solution.

As a rule, we (CSMs) suggest that if you need to change any assessment where students have previously submitted work that you create a new course and enroll new sections into it OR Create a new assessment in the existing course to ensure the integrity of the student's answers. Feel free to reach out to your CSM for a hand if needed.
