[ARCHIVED] Adjust default time for assignments

Can you set a default due time for assignments? Obviously you can adjust each individual assignment, but there is a default time of 11:59PM.  This means that somewhere, someone in the Canvas team made a default of midnight.  Is there any way to make a default for each course?

 @mpalmqui , there isn’t a way to do this by course or even at the school level - at least not on the front end. There might be a way to programmatically do this on the back end of Canvas, but that goes beyond my level of expertise.

Why can't Canvas hear us about this?  

It is easily the most common frustration for all K-12 users.  

Just add the **bleep** feature: Allow changing the default time for due dates.  

How hard can that be?
