[ARCHIVED] Annotation problems with DocViewer and iPad

Reported by colleagues:

When using pen tool in Doc Viewer to annotate submitted assignments, on Canvas via iPad we’ve found the document moves around only when you go to write on it! Is there a way to lock/fix the doc to be able to annotate?

Colleagues are using iPads and opening Canvas on browser (not the app).

Are there any suggestion I can get them to try or do people need more information to go further?

Hi @GideonWilliams - What type of stylus are your colleagues using? I've had a lot of success using the Apple Pencil and Logitech Crayon. If they are using a palm-rejection stylus, did they tap a tool and activate it before using their stylus?
