[ARCHIVED] Announcements

I just added an announcement to my class page AND moved "Announcements" in my Navigation Settings to the top so that it would be visible by the students.  I tried to refresh and even log out/log back in, but the little crossed out eye is still there and neither the announcement, nor the announcement tab, is showing up.  What am I missing?

I've seen this happen a few times too and think there is a bug in Canvas right now preventing things from refreshing properly.  In your course trying clicking on Settings, Course Details tab, and then just click the Update Course Details button at the bottom of the page.  I've had good luck with this approach when faculty have reported the problem to me.  It's what I like to call my "kicking the vending machine" approach for when the candy just won't fall to the bottom.

I am having this problem too, but all of the tips including going into the Course Settings and clicking "Update Course Details" hasn't worked.  Any other ideas?
