In a course with multiple teachers, is it possible to assign faculty to grade some assignments, but not all?
Thanks!

Hi Ann,
Canvas doesn't offer a feature where only a specific teacher can grade specific assignments. Once you're a teacher in the course have access to everything within that course. But that doesn't mean you can tell teachers they are to grade certain assignments and validate that those assignments are being done by whom you instructed to grade the assignment as you can use the #gradebook history feature to see who graded said assignment and when the grade was entered.

Thanks you Brian. I’m glad to have a confirmation as I couldn’t find any documentation on this.
Take care! Ann
It is unfortunate that all assume that there will be only one teacher grading all course assignments. Suppose a particular assignment cannot be assigned to a particular teacher. In that case, it will be difficult to manage late submissions and submission comments, as all the teachers will receive all the messages for all the assignments, irrespective of whether it is being graded or not. It will be difficult to track which teacher is grading which assignment, especially while grading late submissions. Not sure why this can't be fixed.
