[ARCHIVED] Assignment Group marks in Canvas LMS API

Hi Team, 

I have requirement to download the assignment group mark rather than individual assignment. Is there any way to do so in Canvas LMS API?

Can you clarify a little about what you're looking for. I understand that what you call "mark" is what we in the US call "grade", but the "assignment group" part of that is ambiguous to me.

It could be "(assignment group) grade" where you the combined score for the assignment group. This appears in the gradebook as a summary column. For example, I got 95% on homework and you want the 95% rather than the individual grades that make up the 95%.

It could be "assignment (group grade)" where you want the grade that was given on a group assignment that was assigned to the group before it was overridden at the individual level. For example, the group got a 3 out of 5, but Stuart got a 2 out of 5 and not what the group got.

It might be something else completely.

Thank you for your response, basically we have a assignment grouping as shown in below snapshot: 

when the student grade is updated, the group marks (%) will be updated accordingly based on the group weight. 

Now the requirement is we don't need to download get the individual assignment mark but ehe group mark only: 

hope I was able to explain the requirement. Look forward to receiving your help.

That's what I was afraid you were after. No, that information is not available in the API directly although you can use the API to get at it indirectly.
