It's a bit difficult to troubleshoot something like this without being able to see some screen shots of what is happening in that course. Has your instructor reached out to the Canvas Help Desk folks so that they might be able to log in to the course to see if they are any issues and/or concerns with multiple copies of the assignment(s)?
