[ARCHIVED] Auto-saved Content in RCE -Overkill

I am designing the template for my school and I created a 7-min video logging several issues I was seeing that seemed to hamper me to some extent.  Understandably, I dont see a way to send that as a file to the dev team...guess that would be tough for them to handle.  Let me try to ask the questions here (after searching for like concerns).  First:

Sometimes I try something, really dont like what I am doing, cant seem to undo ...so I hit cancel in the RCE.  If any autosave action has occurred, I would like Canvas to delete those versions.  It seems like it does not, because next time I go in, it asks me if I want to use auto-saved content...I am not sure I understand that fully so I always try to preview (that is very helpful) ...but if I said dont save this edit when I left the last time- why should there be any auto-saved content message to deal with- the last edit was formally saved....right?

I completely agree! The ability to disable the auto-save feature is a must when designing a page. It is annoying and time-consuming to have to click No every time I want to save a page.

I agree, I see the auto-save pop-up when I know I have saved my work.  I've even had it pop-up for pages I haven't been working on. It's become useless to me, I always disregard the message.
