I'm having a tough time getting Canvabadges to work right. Is anyone having any luck with any of the other 3rd party badging apps or have an idea of how I add the javascript to Canvas to make the badges viewable? I'd like users to be able to see their apps or have them viewable by others somehow. Is anyone using something they like?

I've been able to add Canvabadges to my sandbox course, but I've not gone the extra step of adding the JavaScript to Canvas to make the badges viewable.  Here is the website for Canvabadges.  Are you adding the JavaScript code in Step #3 to your global JavaScript file for your school's Canvas instance?  It looks like you'd need to make a slight modification to part of the code per the commented out lines near the top of the JavaScript code.

I'm not much of a coder, so if you have code questions, hopefully someone else here will be able to chime in.  But, I hope this helps!

Canvabadges is working properly for us right now.   We also had to get the "Profiles" feature turned on by our Customer Success Manager (CSM) in order for them to display properly but it works just fine.

Karen,

Canvasbadging is no longer being supported as Canvas is using Badgr. It is a great program and I transferred over all of my previous badging situations and they are working perfectly. Let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to answer them for you.
